At the heart of Calaveras Wine Country is the Calaveras Winegrape Wine Information Center at 202 Main Street in Murphys. Visitors can stop in Thursdays through Sundays 11:00-5:00 to pickup tasting room maps, tasting passes and event information. Calaveras County is now home to 35 tasting rooms where wine enthusiasts can meet winemaking families and winemakers. 19 tasting rooms in the historical downtown as well as picturesque vineyard properties nestled in rolling hills.
