Snowshoe with a Ranger

Appreciate the beauty of the Stanislaus National Forest from a different perspective. Forest Rangers will share information about the natural history of the area as you snowshoe along the path. UPDATE: Snow is DEEP! This is an athletic sport and you will get a nice workout! Bring water and a snack and snowshoes/poles for balance. Snowshoes can be rented along Hwy 108. Wear warm snow jacket, snow pants and hat. This program recommended for 8 years and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you've never snowshoed before no problem. We will help you get started! Your well behaved doggo is welcome and please keep them on at least a 6' leash. Bring them water.

Registration not required.
