Columbia State Historic Park will be the site of a Cinco De Mayo celebration beginning Friday, May 5th, 2023 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Come join the fun dancing in the streets or just listening to the sounds of Mario Flores Latin Jazz. And Saturday the 6th from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., enjoy food vendors and strolling Mariachis as we celebrate the cultural history that united Mexico and the USA that was celebrated spontaneously in Columbia by miners of Latino origin. This event conveys a message of Unity, Community and Cultural awareness to create an experience of "Cinco De Mayo as an American tradition", and to promote Columbia as the anticipated destination for this annual event.
