Kennedy Meadows Resort and Pack Station Season Opening Day
Kennedy Meadows is located approximately 60 miles East of Sonora, nestled high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Come and stay with us at the resort, go for a day ride, or let us pack you into the Emigrant Wilderness, Carson Iceberg Wilderness, or northern Yosemite National Park.
We will open for the season Friday, April 24th, 2026, and will have the store, bar, cabins, Baker and Deadman campgrounds available. The restaurant will be open Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and lunch only until May 8th when we open full time for the season. Horse rides starting Memorial weekend.
Typically, we open for the season on the last Friday in April and closes on Columbus Day in October.
