Experience Spooktacular Tuolumne County

By Katie Kirkland | 09/20/2019 | Exploring Tuolumne County, Family, Guided Tours

Located just 2.5 hours from San Francisco is Tuolumne County where California’s Gold Rush history comes alive in spooky ways.

Railtown 1897 State Historic Park runs their Harvest Haunt Express every weekend in October where the Skeleton Crew takes guests on an excursion train ride. Each weekend is themed, and guests are encouraged to dress up.

Explore the spirits of Columbia State Historic Park with a Paranormal Tour on October 26th. The three-hour tour is guided by flashlight and investigates the areas in which are said to be haunted.

If that is too creepy, those who are faint of heart can join in on the Boo Boulevard trick or treating event on the streets of Columbia State Historic Park also on October 26th.

Join in on the mystical All Hallows Faire in Historical Sonora the weekend of October 26 and 27, it is the perfect mix of Celtic and modern-day Halloween themes and events.
