On February 18, 1850, Tuolumne County was officially established, becoming one of California's original counties during the days of the Gold Rush. In 2025, we invite you to join us in commemorating this monumental 175th anniversary. Throughout the year, County organizations and businesses will host a series of events, activities, and celebrations that honor our rich history, diverse culture, and enduring community spirit. Explore the beauty, stories, and traditions that have shaped Tuolumne County for not only the last 175 years, but for centuries before.

On February 11, 2025, the County of Tuolumne Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 13-25, recognizing February 18, 2025, as the 175th anniversary of the County of Tuolumne.
These beautiful hand-colored wood ornaments feature some of Tuolumne County's most iconic locations to commemorate Tuolumne County's 175th Anniversary. Limited numbers are being produced until the end of December, 2025.
