Ultimate Guide to Summer Concerts in Tuolumne County

By Mackenzie Rodgers | 05/22/2019 | Arts & Entertainment, Entertainment, Exploring Tuolumne County, Wine and Cider Tasting

With endless summer activities to enjoy and breathtaking scenic destinations to experience, make sure to leave some room in your travel itinerary to celebrate summer in the cool evenings of Tuolumne County's various venues. From live music in the High Sierra pines to headliners in a foothill paradise, Tuolumne County is an authentic Northern California destination for entertainment.

The Westside Pavilion awakens the foothills of Yosemite with a variety of renowned entertainment. This foothill pavilion paradise is a destination all its own. Get lost in the music and find yourself captured by the magical scenery that is Tuolumne. Dont want to drive? Travel with ease to and from the venue with the complimentary shuttles from Black Oak Casino Resort.

There's no better way to end a High Sierra day than with a FREE Concert in the Pines at Eproson Park. Centrally located, the venue is within walking distance to lodging, dining, and wine tasting. Bring a picnic, bring a date, and bring your dancing shoes for some Saturday night fun in this sweet little mountain town. Twain Harte concerts are every Saturday night at 6 pm June 15-August 31.

Sip the night away, fireside, at a wine tasting/ garden nursery in Columbia. Every Friday night, Inner Sanctum Cellars: Basecamp sets the vibe for a perfect weekend with "Bonfire Fridays," that showcases their very own wine and local talent. Oh, did we mention they have pizza? Grab a slice, challenge your friends to a game of corn-hole, and dance to the laid-back tunes.

Spend an evening shopping, dining, and dancing in Historic Downtown Sonora, where, every 2nd Saturday Night, a courtyard park is lit up with twinkle lights and live music fills the air. Let loose in Coffill Park and join the crowd of all ages in dancing to the upbeat free entertainment. Not in a daring mood? People-watch with a glass of local wine at the no host bar or enjoy a margarita at the nearby Mexican restaurant that overlooks the park.

Hangout in Groveland, Tuolumne County's must-stop in gateway town to Yosemite, on a Thursday night for live music at Provisions. Been hiking in Yosemite all day? This is the vibe for you. Located in the Groveland Hotel, Provisions Taproom & Bourbon Bar is a local favorite for craft beer and charcuterie board deliciousness. This new bar is nothing short of a good time and the summer concerts are a must for weeknight entertainment.

The quiet town of Tuolumne comes to life every Wednesday night from June-August for the Concerts in the Park & Market. Shop the local vendors and bust a move in the grass, as live music fills the air. Local bands create a stage in the park's center and jam out 'til dusk. Bring your favorite canvas shopping bags and low-back lawn chairs to make the most of a week night in Tuolumne.

A Gold Country gem awaits you just 20 minutes from Tuolumne County, in Murphys. Ironstone Vineyards invites the masses to gather in their outdoor amphitheater every summer for big names and incredible wine.
