Monarchs and Milkweed: An evening with Sara Dykman and Ron Allen
FREE and open to the public, the Central Sierra chapter of the California Native Plant Society presents an evening with naturalist Sara Dykman, author of "Bicycling with Butterflies: my 10,201 mile journey following the monarch migration." We start with a potluck (please bring food to share) and a talk on growing the varieties of milkweed that sustain Monarchs by horticulturist Ron Allen. Packets of milkweed seeds with instructions will be available for purchase. Join us for a wonderful evening of discovery and friendship with like-minded locals at the Jamestown Community Hall.
