The California State Fair is just around the corner and after a several-year hiatus, Visit Tuolumne County is getting back into the fun, and we invite you to come along!

Friday, July 17 – Sunday, August 2, 2026

This year, we are thrilled to announce that we have teamed up with our neighboring destinations to represent the entire Gold Country! From Sierra County all the way down to Madera, we will be showcasing the absolute best of our region's history, wine, outdoor recreation, and local businesses to thousands of fairgoers in our larger 20x20 space in Building C.

Would you like to help?

We are looking for enthusiastic local business owners and community members to help us man the Gold Country booth. This is an incredible opportunity to get face-to-face with thousands of California travelers, hand out your own promotional materials, and proudly represent both Tuolumne County and the greater Gold Country region.

What you will be doing:

  • Welcoming fairgoers to the Gold Country booth.
  • Helping visitors scan the QR code to enter our massive "Choose Your Own Adventure" regional giveaway.
  • Answering general questions and sharing what you love most about our area!

The Perks of Volunteering:

  • Free Admission: You will receive a free ticket to the CA State Fair for the day of your shift!
  • Promote Your Business: You are highly encouraged to bring your own business cards, rack cards, or brochures to hand out during your shift.
  • Networking Connect with other local business owners and regional partners.

Shifts are typically 2 hours long, and we have multiple slots available throughout the 17-day run of the fair.

Ready to help us show California what the Mother Lode is all about?

Thank you so much for your continued support of our County and region. If you have any questions about volunteering for this year's Gold Country booth, please call Jen Lopez, Marketing Specialist at 209-533-4420 or email jen@gotuolumne.com, who will be happy to provide information and the schedule to sign up.
