This rare sunset train ride on the Mother Lode Cannonball behind the famous movie star steam engine, Sierra Railway No. 3, will be offered on August 16th and August 30th, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.. It's a family-friendly experience with complementary Sunset Mocktails and picturesque views through the Sierra Gold Country at twilight.
The Sunset Special tickets include park admission and cost $28 for adults, $20 for youth (6-17), and are free for children 5 and under.
