Wander Yosemite’s lesser-known side through Tuolumne County, where rugged trails lead to sweeping vistas, cascading waterfalls, and towering granite cliffs. With fewer crowds and raw natural beauty, this hiking-focused adventure is ideal for those looking to explore Yosemite at their own pace- wild, quiet, and unforgettable. 

Afternoon

Arrive at the Berkshire Inn Bed & Breakfast in Groveland, a beautiful, sprawling inn that sits on 20 wooded acres with nature trails and beautiful vistas near Yosemite National Park. (Make reservations ahead of time)

Evening

Have a delicious dinner at the Grill at Pine Mountain Lake, which features sweeping views of the scenic golf course and Yosemite's peaks in the distance, then round out the evening with a night cap at entertainment at Around the Horn Brewing Company.


Morning

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the inn before checking out. Stop by Mar-Val Market in Groveland to pick up items for a picnic lunch later on, then head out to Miller's Off-Road Adventures and hop in a Jeep for an exciting guided adventure along the rugged forest roads of the Stanislaus National Forest (seasonal).


Afternoon

After the Jeep ride, leave for Hetch Hechy Reservoir in Yosemite National Park.

Explore Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and Have a Picnic

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is a breathtaking, less-traveled region of Yosemite National Park, surrounded by granite cliffs and waterfalls. Beyond its natural beauty, it serves as a crucial water source for over 2.6 million people in the San Francisco Bay Area, blending ecological wonder with essential infrastructure. 

Tip: It's wise to take plenty of water and sun protection.

Evening

Once you've finished exploring Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, take the short drive back to Evergreen Lodge Lodge at Yosemite to check in and ask for an activities calendar. Have dinner at the on-site restaurant then partake in the evening activities, which always includes making S'mores.


Morning

Get going with a Yoga session in the Cedar Room at Evergreen Lodge before breakfast in the restaurant. Your going to have another adventurous day, so pick- up trail lunches at the on-site store.

Meet up with Wild Yosemite for a guided tour in Yosemite National Park.
