Enjoy breakfast at Rush Creek Restaurant and then grab trail lunches at the general store for later.

Head to Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in Yosemite to explore. (38 Minute Drive)

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir is a hidden gem in Yosemite’s northwest corner, featuring dramatic granite cliffs, stunning waterfalls, and scenic trails- perfect for hikers, nature lovers, and those seeking a quieter Yosemite experience. 

  • Have proper hiking attire, snacks, plenty of water and sunscreen
  • Entrance fee required, no reservations required

Afternoon 

Find a picturesque, shady spot near the lake for your picnic lunch before heading back to Rush Creek for spa time. The spa is a nature-inspired wellness retreat featuring indoor‑outdoor thermal pools, Himalayan salt sauna, aromatherapy steam room, sensory mist showers, and rejuvenating massage and facial treatments all designed to echo the raw beauty of Yosemite. There are well appointed-locker rooms and they supply luxurious robes and slippers.


Evening

After dinner, enjoy an amazing stargazing program.


Morning  

Check out of Rush Creek Lodge and take the short drive west to Groveland.

Explore Groveland

Visit Mountain Sage Coffee & Nursery for breakfast and coffee in their beautiful garden area before exploring the town. Walk over to the Ponderosa Lane Public Parking Lot, to see a magnificent, colorful mosaic mural in a highly unlikely place--on the side of the public restroom. While there, stroll around the garden at the historic jail.

Afternoon

After exploring, take the short 5-minute drive to The Grill at Pine Mountain Lake for lunch and great views of the surrounding mountains before heading home.
